OUR LITTLE BLUES CLUES GAME!!!

Kyle absolutely loves BLUES CLUES. When the show is on, he watches it, and when it is not he is either pretending to skedoo, or pretinding to find clues. So a few days ago, I decided to make a little Blues Clues game of my own.

I got 5 envolopes, and on the front of each one was a chatacter from Blues Clues. Inside, was a letter from that character sending him on a little hunt for the next clue. At the end of the game, we ended up at the car where I had placed a treat for them in each of their carseats! Kyle was a little confused, but he had lots of fun looking for the "letters" (I alsonforgot to mention that he also loves to pretind that he is getting mail. His favorite character is mailbox. That is why I used the letters as clues instead of regular blues clues.

Below you will see each of the clues, and a few pictures and videos that Aaron took for me while I was helping Kyle find the clues!

There is suposed to be a video right here. But for whatever reason, blogger won't accept the html code for it. And I am really mad about it too because it was so cute! It was when Kyle found his prize. Oh well. theres not a whole lot I can do about it :(

JUST A FUNNY LITTLE STORY!!!

I am not sharing this post to show off my drawing! I CAN NOT DRAW!!! I think that if there was a contest to see who the worst drawer on the planet was, I would have a pretty good chance of winning that one!

However, I am sharing it to help tell a funny story!

Last night I was writing various letters of the alphabet, and having Kyle guess what they were. After a little while, we switched to guessing what pictures that I drew were. His answers were really cute, and I wanted to share them! Please don't laugh too hard at my drawing!

I think that a cup is quite passably the thing that I can draw the best. Kyle says it is a drink which is close enough in my opinion!

Kyle started guessing while I was still drawing this one. His first guess was a pillow. His second guess, a letter. Then when it was done he knew it was a house!

I know that this one is NOT GOOD! But kyle knew what it was after a couple of guesses!

OK, hopefully you can all tell that this is water. Kyles interpretation......."It's a goat mom"

This is my infamous shoecar! And yes, I know that it looks NOTHING like a car. But, surprisingly Kyle knew exactly what it was!

He knew that this one was a flower!

However, he also thought that this was a flower.

I AM SO RELIEVED!!!

This is how my mouth looked after my dentist apointment.

Trying to smile with a numb face!

Today I went to the dentist. After filling out the new patient paperwork, they got me right back to see the dentist. He took a look at the tooth that has been hurting me, and sied that his wife had mentioned that I thought that I might need a root canal, but that after looking at it, a filling would fix it just fine YAY!!! Fillings are MUCH cheaper than root canals! Then with the cupon that I got we were able to afford for them to fix it today! WOOHOO!!!

The doctor gave me a shot of Novicane, and let me sit for a little while. The dental asistant happend to be from a city near where my grandparrents have their second house, so we spent the time talking about it while we waited.

After a few minutes, he came back in and started drelling. OUCH!!!!! I COULD FEAL EVERYTHING!!!! So......... He gave me about 3 more shots and let me sit for a little while longer.

When he came back and tried again it was a success!!! They got it filled very quickly, and told me to come back when we get out insurrance so that he can work on the rest of my teeth. I really liked this dentist! I just looked kind of funny for a few hours because the amount of novicane that it took ended up making me go numb clear up to the bottom of my right eye! It felt kinda funny.

I felt a little bad because my younger brother Kyler got stuck watching the kids, and they can be quite a handfull! But he did a great job and I am thankful that he was able to do it for us! Aaron joked that this was our first date in a few months. Not exactly my first choice for a date, but hey, atleast my tooth is not hurting me anymore!!!

I WISH WE HAD A DENTIST IN THE FAMILY!!!

Last Friday, I woke up with a really bad tooth ache. I havn't been to the dentist since before I got married, and the one that I went to before did a wonderful job, but he is just way too expensive for us. And I am really sad about that because he is actually in our ward.

Anyway, I called around to a few places, and pretty much everyone was either closed on Fridays, or away from the office because of a meeting of some sort. So..... Aaron decided to call his old phlebotomy instructor. She had told all of her students that her husband is a dintist, and if they mention that she was their instructor, the student, or any member of their family will get a discount.

Unfortunately, she was teaching a class at the time, and Aaron had to leave a message.

The weekend came and went, and luckily I wasn't in too much pain, and I was hoping that we would get a call back yesterday, but we didn't. Then, thismorning just after Aaron went to work, she called WOO HOO!!!She said that she will leave a $50.00 cupon with her husband. WOO HOO AGAIN!!!! She also thod me that they are headed out of town this thursday, so I need to try and get in to see him ASAP so that if necessary he can write me a perscription to get me through this coming weekend.

I just am NOT looking forward, because I know that I have a few cavities, and Aaron can't get insurence with his job untio he has been there for six months. We still have about 3 months to go. So we are going to have to pay it ALL out of pocket. And I am afraid that atleast the one that is hurting me will end up needing a root canal. I have an appointment tomorrow, so that he can look at my teeth, and decide exactly what needs to be done. I am very greatful to Aaron's teacher for helping me out even though she has never met me. However I am really dreading going to the dentist.

I got to thinking, we have lots of people in our family who have various professions which are very helpful to us. I mean for example, if it wasn't for my uncle Joey, our cars would have NEVER lasted! However, right now it would be very helpful to have a dintist in the family!!!

SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO TAKE LIFE AS IT COMES AT YOU!!!

So today it was Aaron's turn to work the Saturday shift, so I sent him off to work and the kids were still asleep so I went back to sleep myself.

When the kids woke up, we had a fun day as usual, and we were all having a great day!

Pretty soon, I realized that it was time for Aaron to come home from work, so I waited, and waited, and pretty soon I got a phone call from him. He explained that the computer system had just gotten fixed about half way through his shift, and he was really backed up and was going to be atleast an hour late. I said OK, and he fianally got home in a great mood. We started getting ready to go out to dinner when all of a sudden Aaron started fealing really sick. So, we ended up deciding to stay home when the next thing I knew, Aaron was in the other room throwing up.

I sent Aaron to bed and decided to have a pizza delivered fore Kyle and I to eat. I wanted to do something fun for him since he had been stuck inside the house all day. We had planned on going swimming at Kimber and David's house as a family but that went out the window when Aaron got sick.

So, I called Kimber, and we decided to go ahead and take the kids swimming ourselvs so that they could get out of the house for a little while.

Kimber came and picked us up and we were on our way. When we got to Kimbers house, we realized that Kenzie's little float toy was not in the car. So we sent David back the way we had come and luckily he found it. We then walked to the pool closest to their apartment. There were some people there having a party, so we decided to walk to one of the other pools. Once there, we saw that it was kinda green, so we decided to walk to the main pool. Once there, we saw that there were like 20 people there, so we just decided to go back to the origional pool.

We fianally got there and put our towels and things down, and all of a sudden, Kyle just started throwing up and sweating really bad. Kimber called David with her cell phone and asked him to please bring some water for Kyle to drink. When David got there, Kyle was so hot that David just picked him up, and immediately took him into the water to cool off. As soon as Kyle got into the cool water, he immediately began to calm down, and his temperature quickly went back to normal.

We stayed in the water for just a few minutes so that Kyle could feal better, then we decided to go back home. Kimber drove us home, and I got the kids bathed and ready for bed. I know that he was fealing better because once I got him dressed he got up on our bed and started jumping. (One of his favorite things)

I had also sent Kimber and David to the store with some money and a list of some upset tummy friendly foods. They soon came back, and Kyle hot a sippy cup full of Gatorade. Then to my surprise, he put himself to bed! He must have been really tired because he just dosn't do that. He usually will not go to bed unless either mommy or daddy are sitting right next to him.

I guess we probably won't be able to make it to church tomorrow. Because Aaron and Kyle are both sick, and I can't drive, and there is nobody to watch Kenzie while I lead the music since Aaron won't be able to be there tomorrow. I am kind of sad about that because tomorrow would have been my first day in my new calling. But I am sure that they will understand. Sometimes we jsut have to take life as it comes at us!!!

AFRICANIZED BEES?????? THATS NEWS TO ME

A few days ago, one of our neighbors who I don't know very well came and knocked on our door. I opened it, and asked if there was something that I could help her with. She then told me that two buildings away from me there were two behives, and the bees are Affricanized. GREAT!!! She then handed ma a paper and further explained that tho man who owns that building does not want to have them romoved properly, so he is only having a small portion of the bees romoved. He was going to leave the nony combs there, and the bees would smell the honey, and soon return to it. And the scaryiest part was that because of the way that they were going to be romoved, the bees could swarm up to a mile away for up to 5 days afterwards. That is scary! I know that Aaron and I arn't alergic to them, but I DO NOT know about my kids because they have never been stung.

After she left, I sat down and read the paper that she had given me and it gave the name of te owner of that building and two diferent telephone numbers to reach him at. I decided not to call because I was not having a very good day and I personly hadn't seen any bees and I pretty much just stay inside my house anyway, so I just decided to leave the matter as it was.

The next night at about the same time, the same lady came to my door again. When I opened the door this time she immediately said :THEY'RE GONA BE REMOVED THE RIGHT WAY!!!) When I asked her what made the guy change his mind, she said that so many people had called and complained, and the city attorney had gotten involved so the guy just decided to do it correctly so that he could be left alone. Mabey it was wrong of me not to call like everyone else, but I am just not the kind of person who likes to pester people. I like to quietly live my life, and spend time with my family and friends and NOT GET IN THE MIDDLE OF THINGS UNLESS I HAVE TO.

Anyway, as soon as the sun goes down tonight, the crew is suposed to come and remove the bees. So we may have to wory a little about them swarming tomorrow, but it shouldn't be too bad because they will be removing everything. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

THEY FIANALLY FOUND OUT THAT I DIDN'T HAVE A CALLING

Last week, I wasn't able to make it to church because Kenzie's teeth have really been bothering her lately, and last Sunday was a really bad day for that! Anyway, Aaron was stopped by the bishop and he asked if I would be able to meet with him later in the day. Aaron told him about Kenzie and he said that he had a calling for me and would just catch up with me at another time.

So, I have spent the past week wondering what my new calling could possably be.

This morning I walked into Sacrament meeting and before I even had a chance to sit down, I had the executave secretary next to me asking me if I could meet with the Bishop right after the block.

After church, I walked into his office, and sat down. Kyle was NOT in a good mood, and I ended up having to hold him still on my lap because he kept trying to run out of the door.
My calling ended up being the chorester for Relief Society. I am ok with this calling I mean I have had it before. The only thing is thatwith my vision problems I CAN NOT read music. I have been taught, and I know how but my vision does not allow me to do it so I have to do it all by ear. So, music time in Relief Society should be pretty interesting from now on.

OUR FUN 4TH OF JULY!!!

We had lots of fun yesterday! First we went over to the other side of the valley to spend some time with Aaron's family. His mom was nice enough to pick the embroidery (I know I spelled that way wrong) out of his lab coat. It had his school emblem on it, and his boss wasn't very happy about it, so we just had it taken off.
Aaron's sister and her husband also came over so we all had lunch together and it was lots of fun to see everyone!
We then drove back to our side of town, and went to my grandma and grandpa's house! There we met up with my mom and most of my sibblings, and had hot dogs for dinner and root beer floats for dessert! We also watched fireworks on tv. We had wanted to go somewhere to see them in person but it is SO DANG HOT HERE, and we would have had to find a way to keep our kids occupied for A LONG TIME so we just decided that it would be a lot easier to spend time with our family!
Normally the Christian church down the street from my mom's house has a really good fireworks show. We usually get to sit on my mom's front lawn and watch them come right up over the top of the neighbors house. But for some reason this year they decided to postpone it until August 30th. I don't exactly understand their reasoning behind that one. Oh well, atleast it will give us something to do on that day!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!!!

DID HE PASS THE TEST?????

When Aaron left to take his test he told me to expect him home in about 3 hours because he was required to be there a little early. So when he walked in the door more than an hour early I was a little woried. I immediately asked him how it went, and he quietly sait "I'll tell you in a minute" I imediately thought Oh no, I am going to have to cheer him up somehow.

He then closed the door and handed me a piece of paper.
HE SCORED AN 89!!!!! According to their system he was one percentage away from getting 100percent!!!!!
Congradulations sweetie!!!!!! I love you so much and I am so proud of you!!!!!

GOOD LUCK AARON!!!

Tonight after he gets off of work, Aaron will head over to the place where he will take his test. If he passes it, he will be nationally certified, and will have A LOT of job oprotunities open to him! So everyone please wish him luck!!! I will keep you posted on what happens!

WE ACTUALLY FIT IN OUR CAR NOW!!!

As most of you know by now, we got our van on Monday! We have gotten to ride in it a few times now, but I have a pretty cute story from when we went to the grocery store earlier today.

We ended up buying a total of four things, and when we got back out to the van, I told Aaron that we could just set them on the floor at the kids feet. He turned to me and said "I know that it will fit, but I have a back of the car now, and I am going to use it" So after we got the kids in their car seats, I walked around to the back of the van with him, and just smiled as I watched him as he very carefully hung each bag on a seperate hook on the back of the back seat. He treated each bag like it was breakable or something. It was just the cutest thing.

HOW TO PERSONALIZE YOUR BLOG (I hope this is helpful Alicia)

This post is to help my sister in law Alicia P. out. Alicia I hope this is helpful, and if you have any more questions just let me know, and I will try my best to help you :)

The first thing you want to do is choose a template

There are lots of websites that have free blogger templates, but many of them require you to download them to your computer. I don't like to do that, so I use this website. http://www.pyzam.com/toys. On this website all you have to do is copy the html code for the template that you want. Then you go back to your blogger dashboard and select new post Once in the new post section there should be some links at the top. You want to click on Layout Once in the layout section you will want to click on edit html This is where you will find the html coce for the template that you are currently using. Highlight the whole thing and delete it.
Once it is deleated, you can paste the new code in that space. Make sure to save it before you leave that section.

Then if you want to, you can change the fonts, colors, and size of the text. And just so you know, even though it gives you the option to change the background color, it won't work. Everything else can be changed to how you want it though!

YOu can also add things to the side of your blog along side your blog posts. The way that you can do this is by going to the layout link, and there you will find a link that says Add a page Element This will bring up a list of options that you can add to your blog. You can also add a picture at the top by choosing to edit you blog title. This will give you the option to add a picture there if you want to.

If you want to add music to your blog
There are a couple of sites that I have used to get music play lists.
The one that I like the best is http://www.playlist.xom. This site does require you to create an account with them. The only personal information that they ask for is your email adress though. This site is where I got the playlist that I am using right now. Of the two that I have used this one has a LOT more of the songs that I try to look up, and the links almost always work. Just listen to the song before you add it to your list because sometimes it is the wrong thing, or part of it is missing.
Once you have created the playlist that you want, click on the link that says something like add this to your myspace (I can't remember exactly what it says) It will then give you options of diferent places that you can post your playlist. If I remember right you want to choose option E. It will then ask you to choose the playlist that you want to get the code for (some people have more than one i guess) So just click on the playlist. It will then give you some options

First choose if you want your songs to automaticly start when your profile is pulled up.
Then choose if you want your songs to be chosen at random to play, or if you just want it to play in the order that you have chosen them in.
Then choose the color that you would like it to be.
Then click on Get the code
This will then give you the html code that you need to copy.
You will then want to go back to the Layout section on your dashboard, and click on Add page Element. You will then want to click on the option that allows you to add codes. (I can't remember exactly what it says) This will pull up a box where you can paste your code. Remember to save it, and you are done!

You can arange your page elements however you want to by clicking on them and dragging them wherever you want them to be. just remember to save it before you leave that page!
Well, I guess thats just about all that I can think of I hope this is helpful to you! And if you have any more questions please let me know!!!

ANOTHER GLASS STORY (sigh)

Well, I know that I just left a post a few minutes ago, but we had another incident happen as I was finishing that tone up. So for those of you who were entertained by my story last week, here you go.

I have one of the centerpieces as a decoration on our kitchen counter (where Kyle can't reach it without working at it for a while) Well, last night while I was making dinner, he pulled a chair over their and threw the centerpiece to the ground. Only one of the pieces broke, so I cleaned that up, put the rest of it away, and went back to what I was doing.

Well, I guess the glass flew farther than I thought because I was walking back to the kitchen with bare feet, and stepped on one. I then had to stop again and stop the bleeding on the bottom of my foot. But thats not my story.

Remember those pieces that I said I put away? Well, Kyle found them. I caught him just as he placed it on the recliner. So, I got up and walked over to the recliner, and he said "NO MOM, and smashed his hand down on the glass vase as hard as he could, smashing the glass. I then looked at his hand and You guessed it, it had a nice cut across one of his knuckles.(sigh) So, I took him into the bathroom so that I could get some tissues to stop the bleeding and ofcorse he fought me every step of the way. I finally got it stopped, but not before He, and I along with the recliner, the living room carpet, and the bathroom sink got decorated.
I'm a few years away from 30, but if this keeps up, I think I am going to have grey hair really soon!

I AM SUPER EXCITED!!!

Over the past few months I have left a few posts talking about our wonderful luck with cars. I don't tell the stories to complain, but mostly just because we have had such rotten luck with our cars that it just makes me laugh.

The good news is that it looks like our luck is changing!!!

Two days ago, Aaron's mom called me and told me she would like me to talk to Aaron about something. I immediately thought Oh no somethings wrong. But she then told me that they had decided to get themselves a new car and were wondering if their van would be helpful to us. I immediately said yes, ofcorse. And promised to call her back the next day with a deffinate answer after talking to Aaron.

Well, long story short, this coming Monday we are getting a van!!! It is not new, but compared to ALL of the other cars that we have had it will seam that way. It is also going to feal so good to have plenty of room for both of our kids carseats, and our groceries, and whatever else we nead to take somewhere! I know that being excited about these things probably sounds really silly to most of you, but this is a luxery that we have NEVER had before!

I also just want to take a minute to say thankyou so much to ALL of our parents for helping us through this hard time when Aaron has been going through school, and his externship. Without all of your help, I don't know how we would have made it through! WE LOVE YOU ALL

????????????????

Yesterday the wierdest thing happend to me.
I was doing some cleaning around the house and all of a sudden I heard this really loud noise outside my front window. I turned and looked, and surprised to find a bird fighting with the window. (Now I haven't washed my window in a while, so I know that it was dirty enough for the stupid bird to see) I calmly walked over to the window, and knocked on it to scare the bird off, and went back to what I was doing.

A few minutes later, I heard what I thought was Aaron unlocking the door. I thought this was strange because he had only been at work for about 2 hours or so. But wondering why he might be home so soon, I hurried to the door and finished unlocking it, and threw the door open. I was quite surprised with my findings on the other side of the door.

The security door was still shut and locked, and there was a bird (probably the same one) between me and the security door. Not wanting to have a wild bird in my house, I hurried and slammed the house door shut, andlocket it so that Kyle wouldn't be able to let the bird in.

I sat there for a few minutes trying to figure out how I could let the poor bird out without letting it in my house. I fianally called my mom and said "HELP" After I explained my little situation, she tole me to open the door just enough to reach the lock on the security door, and open it to let the bird out.

I know that you are probably wondering why I didn't think of this myself. And the answer is that I am absolutely terrified of pretty much ALL living things other than people and plants, so I was kinda panicing LOL

Anyway, I fianally worked up the courage to open the door and found that there was NOTHING THERE. I stood there scratching my head for a minute wondering what the heck happend to the bird, and yes I did look around my house to make sure that it wasn't there, and then I noticed a VERY SMALL space at the bottom of the door. Somehow the stupid bird had managed to crawl out under the door, and get free.

When I told Aaron about it a few hours later, he told me that there was a bird just kind of walking around on our balcony when he got home from work. I guess it might have hurt its self trying to fit in a space that was smaller than it was.

I know that it's kind of a dumb story, but

STAYING COOL ON A HOT SUMMER DAY!!!

This past Saturday we went to my grandma and grandpa M's house to let Kyle play in the sprinkler. We had lots of fun, and we ALL ended up getting a little wet.(especially me) We all had a great time though, and we were invited to come back and do it again when ever we want to. I plan to take them up on that offer a few more times this summer because IT IS SOOOOOO STINKING HOT HERE!!!
When we pulled up in front of Grandma and Grandpa's house, this is what we found when we turned around to get the kids out of their car seats. It was so cute we just had to take a picture!

When we first started playing in the water, he was a little timid of actually getting wet, part of the reason was probably because I kept spraying him, and grandpa M. kept turning off the hose, and when he would get brave enough to get close to it he would turn it back on again. It sent him running every time! He got us back though. We all ended up getting a little wet when all was said and done!

I have another video of him spraying me and Kenzie, but for some reason the upload process won't work right for that one.

He was scared of the water at first, but after a while he really started to have a lot of fun!

Kyle was having so much fun playing in the water that he decided to get everyone else wet too!Kenzie got caught in the middle of it, and she absolutely LOBED every minute of it!!!

After Kyle sprayed me Aaron took the hose from him and made sure that I was absolutely SOAKED from head to toe. I was not as happy about it as Kenzie was!

He really did have a great time!

I NEED A VACATION!!!

Have you ever had one of those days where absolutely nothing goes right, and you just wish that you could go back to sleep, and stay that way until tomorrow? Well, today is one of those days for me.

First of all, I woke up at 2 am to find Kyle laying sideways on our bed between Aaron and I. His head was right against my head, and his feet were in Aaron's face. So I decided to walk him back to his bed. He will not go to sleep unless I am sitting next to his bed, so I sat there for an hour and a half. He finally went to sleep, so I went and got myself a glass of water, and crawled back into bed. The second my head hit the pillow he started screaming because mommy wasn't there, and this woke Kenzie up which made her start screaming also. So I dragged myself out of bed, and got everyone re situated, and then I continued to sit there. Finally, at 5:00 I was sure that Kyle was asleep, so I crawled back into my bed once more. I then woke up at 5:30 to find Kyle back in our bed once again. This time, it had woken Aaron up, and I let him take over because I was just too tired to think straight! So Aaron just settled him down between us, and we all went back to sleep.

Then later in the day after Aaron had already gone to work, Kyle found a small glass that I had been drinking milk out of. Now, anyone who knows Kyle knows that he has a tendency to throw things when he gets caught with something that he shouldn't have. I calmly walked toward him, and reached for the glass. As soon as I did, Kyle threw it up as high as he could, it hit the cealing, and shattered into millions of pieces! Luckily, Kenzie was asleep in her bed, so I only had to worry about keeping Kyle out of the Mess while I tried to clean it all out of the carpet. It took a while, but I fianally got ti to the point where I could vacuum. I got a good start, and then, I accidently ran over one of Kyle's socks, and had to get it out of the vacuum cleaner. I turned it back over, and started it again and realized that it wasn't picking anything up. I then decided that I had probably gotten most of the glass off the floor, so it would be OK until Aaron got home from work. I WAS WRONG!!!

If you are wondering why I didn't try to fix it it is because I have some vision problems that most of you know about, and I am unable to see exactly what I need to do to fix, so it is just much safer for the vacuum if I leave it alone.

Anyway,I walked into the kitchen and noticed that there was blood all over my kitchen floor. I then looked at Kyle's feet, and his middle toe on his left foot had a very big slice on the end of it. It wasn't bleeding uncontrollably or anything like that but it just wouldn't stop, and for any of you who haven't seen him lately, he is a very big and strong little boy! It took all of the streighth that I had just to hold him down in order to put pressure on the bleeding. It took a very long time, but I Finlay got it stopped.

I then called my mom who lives just down the street, and asked her if she could please come over and help me. So she came along with my brother Clint, and they both got a good laugh out of the story of my day. My mom found that I had snapped the belt, and luckily I had a new one for her to put on there for me.

I then vacuumed really, really, really good, and Kenzie woke up and got upset at me because I kept her in her bed until I was sure that it was safe for her to play on the carpet.

Well, that's the story of my day It really is pretty funny to look back on what has happened! I have just decided that I need a very long vacation!

"I SAID GOOD DAY SIR"

Kyle absolutely loves the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ( The origional one not that new one!) Well anyway, do you remember that part at the end where Willy Wonka and the Grandpa are yelling at each other? Well, Kyle can quote this part word for word

Now, whenever Kyle is doing something that he shouldn't be doing, and someone catches him and tells him no, he immediately replies with " I SAID GOOD DAY SIR" Which for those of you who might not watch this movie quite as often as we do is how Willy Wonka ends his little speach when he is yelling at Charlies grandpa.

It is so funny! When he first started doing it, it took me a couple of days to figure out what he was saying. Now I have a very hard time keeping a straight face when I am suposed to be the serious parrent. IT IS JUST THE CUTEST THING!!!!!

ANOTHER 1st. TODAY!!!

Mackenzie has been trying to figure out how to stand up for a couple of weeks now, and today she fianally did it!

About ten minutes after Aaron left for work this morning I noticed that she was sitting next to the couch, and trying to figure it out once again. And then the next thing that I knew, SHE DID IT!!!

After that, I tried to get a video of it all day, but whenever the camera came on, she just wouldn't show off. Then, fianally, a couple of hours ago, I was fianally able to get it!!!

OUR CAR WAS SICK AGAIN.........IT IS BETTER NOW THANKS TO JOEY THE GREAT :)

Well, most of you know the story about us and our luck with cars. But for those of you who don't, here is the short version of a very long story.

A few months before we got married, Aaron was given the car that used to be his grandpas. After just a few days, it caught on fire. Then about 2 weeks before we got married, he got a Chevy Beretta, It had to have the transmission completely rebuilt, and there was always something going wrong with it. We then got my grand parents old car. Then this past Thanksgiving the transmission went completely out on us on the freeway on the way to Aaron's parents house. So my dad then helped us get the car that we have now, and here is our latest adventure.

As I have posted before, our car isn't the prettiest, or the biggest car, but it runs great, and it gets us where we need to go, and that is just fine with us.

A Couple of months ago, we took our car in to have the oil changed, and just to have it checked out to make sure that everything was working the way that it should. They said that our car was just fine. Soon after that, our car started making funny noises, and I have already told you about the weird smell that it was causing in the post titled ARE YOU KIDDING ME. The smell has continued so I guess it wasn't the plastic bag.

In the past couple of weeks, our car has decided that it just doesn't want to work any more, and sometimes, it would just turn off for no reason when we were stopped at a stoplight. So yesterday after work, Aaron took it over to my uncle Joey who is an awesome mechanic! Joey found that the people who had worked on our car had completely forgotten to put transmission fluid in our car, and there was pretty much none in there. He also found that a rubber hose was leaning up against something hot, and that is what was causing the smell. Now, those things have been fixed, and our car is once again running great! I know this is a luxury that most people don't even think twice about, but do you know how wonderful it feels to know that if we have to go somewhere, we can go get in the car, and it will actually get us there without deciding to quit working in the middle of the trip? I know this probably sounds silly to most of you, but we just haven't had the best of luck with cars!
