JUST A FUNNY LITTLE STORY!!!

I am not sharing this post to show off my drawing! I CAN NOT DRAW!!! I think that if there was a contest to see who the worst drawer on the planet was, I would have a pretty good chance of winning that one!

However, I am sharing it to help tell a funny story!

Last night I was writing various letters of the alphabet, and having Kyle guess what they were. After a little while, we switched to guessing what pictures that I drew were. His answers were really cute, and I wanted to share them! Please don't laugh too hard at my drawing!

I think that a cup is quite passably the thing that I can draw the best. Kyle says it is a drink which is close enough in my opinion!

Kyle started guessing while I was still drawing this one. His first guess was a pillow. His second guess, a letter. Then when it was done he knew it was a house!

I know that this one is NOT GOOD! But kyle knew what it was after a couple of guesses!

OK, hopefully you can all tell that this is water. Kyles interpretation......."It's a goat mom"

This is my infamous shoecar! And yes, I know that it looks NOTHING like a car. But, surprisingly Kyle knew exactly what it was!

He knew that this one was a flower!

However, he also thought that this was a flower.

WE ACTUALLY FIT IN OUR CAR NOW!!!

As most of you know by now, we got our van on Monday! We have gotten to ride in it a few times now, but I have a pretty cute story from when we went to the grocery store earlier today.

We ended up buying a total of four things, and when we got back out to the van, I told Aaron that we could just set them on the floor at the kids feet. He turned to me and said "I know that it will fit, but I have a back of the car now, and I am going to use it" So after we got the kids in their car seats, I walked around to the back of the van with him, and just smiled as I watched him as he very carefully hung each bag on a seperate hook on the back of the back seat. He treated each bag like it was breakable or something. It was just the cutest thing.

ANOTHER GLASS STORY (sigh)

Well, I know that I just left a post a few minutes ago, but we had another incident happen as I was finishing that tone up. So for those of you who were entertained by my story last week, here you go.

I have one of the centerpieces as a decoration on our kitchen counter (where Kyle can't reach it without working at it for a while) Well, last night while I was making dinner, he pulled a chair over their and threw the centerpiece to the ground. Only one of the pieces broke, so I cleaned that up, put the rest of it away, and went back to what I was doing.

Well, I guess the glass flew farther than I thought because I was walking back to the kitchen with bare feet, and stepped on one. I then had to stop again and stop the bleeding on the bottom of my foot. But thats not my story.

Remember those pieces that I said I put away? Well, Kyle found them. I caught him just as he placed it on the recliner. So, I got up and walked over to the recliner, and he said "NO MOM, and smashed his hand down on the glass vase as hard as he could, smashing the glass. I then looked at his hand and You guessed it, it had a nice cut across one of his knuckles.(sigh) So, I took him into the bathroom so that I could get some tissues to stop the bleeding and ofcorse he fought me every step of the way. I finally got it stopped, but not before He, and I along with the recliner, the living room carpet, and the bathroom sink got decorated.
I'm a few years away from 30, but if this keeps up, I think I am going to have grey hair really soon!

????????????????

Yesterday the wierdest thing happend to me.
I was doing some cleaning around the house and all of a sudden I heard this really loud noise outside my front window. I turned and looked, and surprised to find a bird fighting with the window. (Now I haven't washed my window in a while, so I know that it was dirty enough for the stupid bird to see) I calmly walked over to the window, and knocked on it to scare the bird off, and went back to what I was doing.

A few minutes later, I heard what I thought was Aaron unlocking the door. I thought this was strange because he had only been at work for about 2 hours or so. But wondering why he might be home so soon, I hurried to the door and finished unlocking it, and threw the door open. I was quite surprised with my findings on the other side of the door.

The security door was still shut and locked, and there was a bird (probably the same one) between me and the security door. Not wanting to have a wild bird in my house, I hurried and slammed the house door shut, andlocket it so that Kyle wouldn't be able to let the bird in.

I sat there for a few minutes trying to figure out how I could let the poor bird out without letting it in my house. I fianally called my mom and said "HELP" After I explained my little situation, she tole me to open the door just enough to reach the lock on the security door, and open it to let the bird out.

I know that you are probably wondering why I didn't think of this myself. And the answer is that I am absolutely terrified of pretty much ALL living things other than people and plants, so I was kinda panicing LOL

Anyway, I fianally worked up the courage to open the door and found that there was NOTHING THERE. I stood there scratching my head for a minute wondering what the heck happend to the bird, and yes I did look around my house to make sure that it wasn't there, and then I noticed a VERY SMALL space at the bottom of the door. Somehow the stupid bird had managed to crawl out under the door, and get free.

When I told Aaron about it a few hours later, he told me that there was a bird just kind of walking around on our balcony when he got home from work. I guess it might have hurt its self trying to fit in a space that was smaller than it was.

I know that it's kind of a dumb story, but

I NEED A VACATION!!!

Have you ever had one of those days where absolutely nothing goes right, and you just wish that you could go back to sleep, and stay that way until tomorrow? Well, today is one of those days for me.

First of all, I woke up at 2 am to find Kyle laying sideways on our bed between Aaron and I. His head was right against my head, and his feet were in Aaron's face. So I decided to walk him back to his bed. He will not go to sleep unless I am sitting next to his bed, so I sat there for an hour and a half. He finally went to sleep, so I went and got myself a glass of water, and crawled back into bed. The second my head hit the pillow he started screaming because mommy wasn't there, and this woke Kenzie up which made her start screaming also. So I dragged myself out of bed, and got everyone re situated, and then I continued to sit there. Finally, at 5:00 I was sure that Kyle was asleep, so I crawled back into my bed once more. I then woke up at 5:30 to find Kyle back in our bed once again. This time, it had woken Aaron up, and I let him take over because I was just too tired to think straight! So Aaron just settled him down between us, and we all went back to sleep.

Then later in the day after Aaron had already gone to work, Kyle found a small glass that I had been drinking milk out of. Now, anyone who knows Kyle knows that he has a tendency to throw things when he gets caught with something that he shouldn't have. I calmly walked toward him, and reached for the glass. As soon as I did, Kyle threw it up as high as he could, it hit the cealing, and shattered into millions of pieces! Luckily, Kenzie was asleep in her bed, so I only had to worry about keeping Kyle out of the Mess while I tried to clean it all out of the carpet. It took a while, but I fianally got ti to the point where I could vacuum. I got a good start, and then, I accidently ran over one of Kyle's socks, and had to get it out of the vacuum cleaner. I turned it back over, and started it again and realized that it wasn't picking anything up. I then decided that I had probably gotten most of the glass off the floor, so it would be OK until Aaron got home from work. I WAS WRONG!!!

If you are wondering why I didn't try to fix it it is because I have some vision problems that most of you know about, and I am unable to see exactly what I need to do to fix, so it is just much safer for the vacuum if I leave it alone.

Anyway,I walked into the kitchen and noticed that there was blood all over my kitchen floor. I then looked at Kyle's feet, and his middle toe on his left foot had a very big slice on the end of it. It wasn't bleeding uncontrollably or anything like that but it just wouldn't stop, and for any of you who haven't seen him lately, he is a very big and strong little boy! It took all of the streighth that I had just to hold him down in order to put pressure on the bleeding. It took a very long time, but I Finlay got it stopped.

I then called my mom who lives just down the street, and asked her if she could please come over and help me. So she came along with my brother Clint, and they both got a good laugh out of the story of my day. My mom found that I had snapped the belt, and luckily I had a new one for her to put on there for me.

I then vacuumed really, really, really good, and Kenzie woke up and got upset at me because I kept her in her bed until I was sure that it was safe for her to play on the carpet.

Well, that's the story of my day It really is pretty funny to look back on what has happened! I have just decided that I need a very long vacation!

"I SAID GOOD DAY SIR"

Kyle absolutely loves the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ( The origional one not that new one!) Well anyway, do you remember that part at the end where Willy Wonka and the Grandpa are yelling at each other? Well, Kyle can quote this part word for word

Now, whenever Kyle is doing something that he shouldn't be doing, and someone catches him and tells him no, he immediately replies with " I SAID GOOD DAY SIR" Which for those of you who might not watch this movie quite as often as we do is how Willy Wonka ends his little speach when he is yelling at Charlies grandpa.

It is so funny! When he first started doing it, it took me a couple of days to figure out what he was saying. Now I have a very hard time keeping a straight face when I am suposed to be the serious parrent. IT IS JUST THE CUTEST THING!!!!!

My AMAZING Little Sister!

OK For those of you who don't know, my sibblings (ALL OF THEM!) are amazingly accident prone! Here is the latest reason why my family basicly owns a wing of the hospital.

Two nights ago, Kimber rolled over in her sleep and hit her head on a bed post. Aparently, she hit it pretty hard, because it woke her husband David up, and he said that she was sluring her speach, and she just
wasn't quite herself.
Not thinking much about it, she rolled over and went back to sleep. The next morning, she went to work, but she said that she just didn't feel quite right. She was dizzy and nasiated all day. She then went to my mom's house, and my mom told her that she heeded to have it checked out. She cqlled the doctor, but ofcorse it was after hours. She then found an urgent care to call. The quickly explained what was going on, and they told her that it sounded like she needed a catscan and they didn't have the ability to do those. So she fianally gave in and went to the evergency room!
After spending the entire night there, they determined that she has a concussion. They told her that she could work, but she is not allowed to play any contact sports or anything like that. She tried to go to work today, but my mom had to go and pick her up early because she just didn't feel well.

I was talking to her on the phone a few hours ago and it was just kind of funny because she was trying to cary on a normal conversation, and I could tell that she was trying so hard to make sence, and for the most part she was, bur occasionally, she would say something that just didn't quite fit into the conversation. Then she would say something like oh my goodness! because she knew that she had said something that didn't quite make sence.

This story gave me a pretty good laugh! With my amazing family, I never know quite what to expect!!!
