JUST A FUNNY LITTLE STORY!!!

I am not sharing this post to show off my drawing! I CAN NOT DRAW!!! I think that if there was a contest to see who the worst drawer on the planet was, I would have a pretty good chance of winning that one!

However, I am sharing it to help tell a funny story!

Last night I was writing various letters of the alphabet, and having Kyle guess what they were. After a little while, we switched to guessing what pictures that I drew were. His answers were really cute, and I wanted to share them! Please don't laugh too hard at my drawing!

I think that a cup is quite passably the thing that I can draw the best. Kyle says it is a drink which is close enough in my opinion!

Kyle started guessing while I was still drawing this one. His first guess was a pillow. His second guess, a letter. Then when it was done he knew it was a house!

I know that this one is NOT GOOD! But kyle knew what it was after a couple of guesses!

OK, hopefully you can all tell that this is water. Kyles interpretation......."It's a goat mom"

This is my infamous shoecar! And yes, I know that it looks NOTHING like a car. But, surprisingly Kyle knew exactly what it was!

He knew that this one was a flower!

However, he also thought that this was a flower.

"I SAID GOOD DAY SIR"

Kyle absolutely loves the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ( The origional one not that new one!) Well anyway, do you remember that part at the end where Willy Wonka and the Grandpa are yelling at each other? Well, Kyle can quote this part word for word

Now, whenever Kyle is doing something that he shouldn't be doing, and someone catches him and tells him no, he immediately replies with " I SAID GOOD DAY SIR" Which for those of you who might not watch this movie quite as often as we do is how Willy Wonka ends his little speach when he is yelling at Charlies grandpa.

It is so funny! When he first started doing it, it took me a couple of days to figure out what he was saying. Now I have a very hard time keeping a straight face when I am suposed to be the serious parrent. IT IS JUST THE CUTEST THING!!!!!

ANOTHER 1st. TODAY!!!

Mackenzie has been trying to figure out how to stand up for a couple of weeks now, and today she fianally did it!

About ten minutes after Aaron left for work this morning I noticed that she was sitting next to the couch, and trying to figure it out once again. And then the next thing that I knew, SHE DID IT!!!

After that, I tried to get a video of it all day, but whenever the camera came on, she just wouldn't show off. Then, fianally, a couple of hours ago, I was fianally able to get it!!!

DADDY'S GIRL

Mackenzie has been saying " mommy" for a few weeks now, and I could tell that Aaron was starting to feel a little left out.
Well, yesterday I walked into the living room and found him holding hir in his arms and repeating the word "da da" over and over again. It was the cutest thing! Then to my amazment, she said it!!! The only diference is that it comes out "baba"

Now that is all she ever says. From the time Aaron left for work, until the time he comes home, she is calling for "baba" And if she can see him, but his attention is not on her, she calls him until he pays attention. It is just the cutest thing!!!

OFF TO WORK!

A few days ago, Kyle did one of the cutest things that I have ever seen! He had been running around the house in his pullup, and one of Aaron's neck ties. The next thing I knew he was holding a paper gift bag with the handles on his shoulder like I Cary my purse. He then said "bye bye momma"
Me: "Where are you going?"
Kyle: " I love you Momma"
Me: " I love you too Kyle, where are you going to go?"
Kyle: " I'm going to work! BYE BYE!"

He then hurried to the front door, and tried to open it. He would be able to except for the chain lock that my dad recently installed at the top of our door for us.

It was so adorable that ofcorse I took a couple of pictures, but unfortunately, I can't find the cord for my camera, so I will place a picture of it on the right hand side when I can.

So Much Fun!

Since we live in a really small apartment, and Aaron is gone a lot with work and school, and I don't drive, Kyle tends to get very bored very fast. Today, he was in quite a mood, so I was determined to find something new for him to do. So I pulled out my Super Nintendo that Aaron got me a couple of years ago for Christmas ( because I love Super Mario Brothers) And set it up for him.
At first, I pushed the buttons while he sat on my lap. But soon after that he was reaching for the controler saying ""I want to help you mom"" In no time at all, he was sitting on the floor infront of the tv. playing the game. Well, atleast he thought he was. Most of the time he was just pausing and unpausing the game, but he got so excited about it, and it was adorable!I am sure that he will have that game figured out in no time at all!

Digital Scrapbooking!

A few weeks ago, Alicia, ( my brother Clint's fiance) introduced me to some girls on myspace who do digital scrapbooking. They do some really cute work! Here are just a few of the things that they have made for me!

TOO CUTE!!!

Today we went grocery shopping. At the end of our shopping trip when we were getting ready to check out, I let Kyle pick out a piece of candy since he had been such a good boy. When we got home, I put all of the groceries away, and gave him his candy. Soon I realizie that it was way too quiet in our house, so I looked over to check on him, and he had fallen asleep in the middle of eating his candy, and it was so cute that I just had to take a picture!
