Recipe Time!!!

As many of you know, My sister, and Aaron's sister both got married this past year. I wanted to do sometning fun for them that would also be helpful, so I came up with this idea that I would make them each a recipe book. I had so much fun makeng these books that I have continued collecting recipes, and I now have collected more than 200 of them! My sester says I am becoming like my mom in this respect thats OK though because my mom is awesome!

Since I have so many recipes, I thought that I would share a few of them from time to time.

Quick & Easy Chicken Parmesan
I got this recipe off of the internet.
Ingredients:
4-6 frozen, breaded chicken patties
spaghetti sauce
mozzarella cheese
oil
Directions: Pan fry chicken on both sides until lightly golden brown. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray, and add chicken in a single layer. Spread with spaghetti sauce and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted. Serve over spaghetti.

This is one that we tried for the first time this week, and we loved it! It was so easy and dedn't take very long at all to make!!!

Sausage Balls
I got this one out of the 5 ingredient cookbook.
Ingredients:
2 C. biscuit mix
1 lb. hot sausage
1 C. shredded cheddar cheese
Directions: Combine biscuit mix, sausage, and cheese with a wooden spoon, or with your hands. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on a cookie sheet, and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 min. These will freeze nicely.

I made this one for the first time and took it to the New Years Eve party at my grandma & grandpa's house. Everyone thought they were pretty good!

Baked Ziti
This is a recipe that Aaron’s mom made and brought over to us just after Mackenzie was born. I thought it was very yummy, and asked her for the recipe.
Ingredients:
1/ 2 (16 oz. pkg.) dry ziti pasta
1/ 2 lb. Lean ground beef
1/ 2 onion, chopped
1 (28 oz. jar) spaghetti sauce
3 oz. sliced Provolone cheese
3 oz. sliced mozzarella cheese
3/4 C. sour cream
1/4 C. grated Parmesan cheese
2 T. chopped fresh Basil
Directions: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook 8-10 min, or until done. Drain. In a large skillet, brown beef over medium heat. Add onions and saute until tender. Drain off fat, and add spaghetti sauce. Simmer for about 15 min. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a lightly greased 2 quart baking dish, place about half the pasta. Top with a layer of provolone and mozzarella cheese slices. Spread on a layer of half the spaghetti sauce, and sour cream. Cover with remaining pasta, cheese, and sauce. Sprinkle with a layer of Parmesan cheese, and, and fresh basil. Bake in preheated oven for about 30 min. Or until cheese and sauce are bubbly. Serve.

This is a recipe that Aaron's mom made for us a couple of times. I loved it so much that I asked her for the recipe!!!
