SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO TAKE LIFE AS IT COMES AT YOU!!!

So today it was Aaron's turn to work the Saturday shift, so I sent him off to work and the kids were still asleep so I went back to sleep myself.

When the kids woke up, we had a fun day as usual, and we were all having a great day!

Pretty soon, I realized that it was time for Aaron to come home from work, so I waited, and waited, and pretty soon I got a phone call from him. He explained that the computer system had just gotten fixed about half way through his shift, and he was really backed up and was going to be atleast an hour late. I said OK, and he fianally got home in a great mood. We started getting ready to go out to dinner when all of a sudden Aaron started fealing really sick. So, we ended up deciding to stay home when the next thing I knew, Aaron was in the other room throwing up.

I sent Aaron to bed and decided to have a pizza delivered fore Kyle and I to eat. I wanted to do something fun for him since he had been stuck inside the house all day. We had planned on going swimming at Kimber and David's house as a family but that went out the window when Aaron got sick.

So, I called Kimber, and we decided to go ahead and take the kids swimming ourselvs so that they could get out of the house for a little while.

Kimber came and picked us up and we were on our way. When we got to Kimbers house, we realized that Kenzie's little float toy was not in the car. So we sent David back the way we had come and luckily he found it. We then walked to the pool closest to their apartment. There were some people there having a party, so we decided to walk to one of the other pools. Once there, we saw that it was kinda green, so we decided to walk to the main pool. Once there, we saw that there were like 20 people there, so we just decided to go back to the origional pool.

We fianally got there and put our towels and things down, and all of a sudden, Kyle just started throwing up and sweating really bad. Kimber called David with her cell phone and asked him to please bring some water for Kyle to drink. When David got there, Kyle was so hot that David just picked him up, and immediately took him into the water to cool off. As soon as Kyle got into the cool water, he immediately began to calm down, and his temperature quickly went back to normal.

We stayed in the water for just a few minutes so that Kyle could feal better, then we decided to go back home. Kimber drove us home, and I got the kids bathed and ready for bed. I know that he was fealing better because once I got him dressed he got up on our bed and started jumping. (One of his favorite things)

I had also sent Kimber and David to the store with some money and a list of some upset tummy friendly foods. They soon came back, and Kyle hot a sippy cup full of Gatorade. Then to my surprise, he put himself to bed! He must have been really tired because he just dosn't do that. He usually will not go to bed unless either mommy or daddy are sitting right next to him.

I guess we probably won't be able to make it to church tomorrow. Because Aaron and Kyle are both sick, and I can't drive, and there is nobody to watch Kenzie while I lead the music since Aaron won't be able to be there tomorrow. I am kind of sad about that because tomorrow would have been my first day in my new calling. But I am sure that they will understand. Sometimes we jsut have to take life as it comes at us!!!

DID HE PASS THE TEST?????

When Aaron left to take his test he told me to expect him home in about 3 hours because he was required to be there a little early. So when he walked in the door more than an hour early I was a little woried. I immediately asked him how it went, and he quietly sait "I'll tell you in a minute" I imediately thought Oh no, I am going to have to cheer him up somehow.

He then closed the door and handed me a piece of paper.
HE SCORED AN 89!!!!! According to their system he was one percentage away from getting 100percent!!!!!
Congradulations sweetie!!!!!! I love you so much and I am so proud of you!!!!!

GOOD LUCK AARON!!!

Tonight after he gets off of work, Aaron will head over to the place where he will take his test. If he passes it, he will be nationally certified, and will have A LOT of job oprotunities open to him! So everyone please wish him luck!!! I will keep you posted on what happens!

WE ACTUALLY FIT IN OUR CAR NOW!!!

As most of you know by now, we got our van on Monday! We have gotten to ride in it a few times now, but I have a pretty cute story from when we went to the grocery store earlier today.

We ended up buying a total of four things, and when we got back out to the van, I told Aaron that we could just set them on the floor at the kids feet. He turned to me and said "I know that it will fit, but I have a back of the car now, and I am going to use it" So after we got the kids in their car seats, I walked around to the back of the van with him, and just smiled as I watched him as he very carefully hung each bag on a seperate hook on the back of the back seat. He treated each bag like it was breakable or something. It was just the cutest thing.

AARON HAS CHANGED HIS BLOG!!!

CONGRADULATIONS AARON!!!

Last night Aaron graduated from Phlebotomy school!!! He has been working so hard and He has a great new job to show for it!!!

Aaron, I just want to tell you that I am so proud of you, and I am so thankful to you for working so hard to reach your goals!! You have done a great job, and I love you so much!!!

Kyle's favorite part of the graduation was getting to wear Daddy's hat after it was all over!

DADDY'S GIRL

Mackenzie has been saying " mommy" for a few weeks now, and I could tell that Aaron was starting to feel a little left out.
Well, yesterday I walked into the living room and found him holding hir in his arms and repeating the word "da da" over and over again. It was the cutest thing! Then to my amazment, she said it!!! The only diference is that it comes out "baba"

Now that is all she ever says. From the time Aaron left for work, until the time he comes home, she is calling for "baba" And if she can see him, but his attention is not on her, she calls him until he pays attention. It is just the cutest thing!!!

AARON STARTED A NEW BLOG!

Aaron has decided to start a blog about his time in the army so that he can share pictures and stories from that time in his life! It is not done yet because he has to work. But I have goten it started for him! If you would like to see it go to

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON!!!!!

Today is Aaron's birthday!!! We are having a quiet little celebration! I am going to make him some brownies!!! We will then give him his gifts, and maybe go out to dinner at a place that he chooses! My mom, Kimber, and David are probably going to stop by, but other than that we are planning a quiet evening with the kids!!!( If you can call time with a toddler and an infant 2quiet) ha ha ha

We Definately Had Some Heavenly Help With This One!!!

Aaron started school in January as I have posted previously. He was in the classroom for seven weeks ( I think) He then went to do his extern at a small lab. It turns out that this was the first time that they had ever dealt with a student at this particular location, and this was VERY hard for Aaron because he was not getting the help that he needed.

As luck would have it, one day the supervisor for this entire regon stopped by to see if Aaron knew what to do as fr as blood draws, processing, etc goes. Then, a week or two later, Aaron got a call from the school telling him that his extern location had been moved, and he was now going to work at the main office. We thought this was a little strange, but decided to make the best of it.

The next day, Aaron came home from the new lab in a wonderful mood! It turns out that this regional supervisor wanted to make sure that Aaron was being taught right so she had him moved to a place where people new how to help a student.

Yesterday, he finished up his extern, but the lady in charge was not there, so he was told to call and make an appiontment with her to schedule a time to pick up his final evaluation, and time sheet. When he called, he was told that they would also go over employment information!

He came home about two hours later WITH A NEW JOB!!!! He hasn't even graduated yet, and won't graduate until the end of May! I am so excited, and proud of him! He will start his new employment in two weeks! I can't wait! He is going to be home with our family so much more now! That was the one thing that was so hard for me while he was in school was that he was gone or asleep almost all the time. Now that he is done that dosn't happen anymore, and I am so thankful for all of the help that we have had over the past couple of months!

He's Almost There!!!

Well, I think most of you know by now. But for those of you who don't, Aaron has been going to school for phlebotomy. He finished up his classes at the end of February, and started doing his extern at the beginning of March.

He is working in a small lab, and absolutely loves what he is doing! He has completed most of the requirements and has only one more to finish! (I think) The only thing that he has to finish is to complete the required number of hours at the lab. The supervisor has already told him that once he finishes this, he will be offered a job with them! He is sooooo excited!!!

I am so proud of him! He has been working so very hard both going to school, and working full time. And all the while insisting that I stay home with the kids instead of working to help us through the time while he is in school. This is a good thing though because we both know that this is where I need to be.

Although he is so busy, and stressed, I have never seen him so happy! I am so happy that he has fianally found a carrer that he truely enjoys! After he finishes his clinicals, he will be able to start working immediatly! And will actually graduate some time in May! He is also studdying to take the state certification test. Once he passes this, he will be able to make a little bit more because the state will recognize him as a certified phlebotomist!

I love you Aaron, and I am so proud of you!!!!!

Today Is Our Anniversary!

Today is our anniversary!!! Aaron and I met on an LDS Singles website in Early 2004. He was very forward, and it scared me a little, so at first I kind of ingnored him. He was very presistant though, and in May of that year I fianally agreed to go on a date with him. From that day on, I knew that I would marry him someday! We had an interesting time dating because soon after we started dating his car caught on fire, and was no longer driveable. This wouldn't have been a problem except for the fact that we lived on oppisate sides of the valley from eachother and I don't drive because of my vision problems.

So Aaron would get up early every Friday morning and ride the bus for 3 hours to get to my house, and spend the day with me! He would then spend another 3 hours on the bus going home at night! This showed me how much he truely did care about me! He proposed in July. My family was going camping for a week and he wanted me to have my ring before I went, so since I would leave for the mountains right after work, he proposed to me right in front of the day care center that I worked at at the time. We have been togeter ever since! We have been through a lot together! He is truely my best friend, and I look forward to our future together!

Back To School!

Aaron has been wanting to go to school for a very long time, and he has fianally done it! This past week, he started studying Phlibotamy! ( I'm so sorry, I know I probably spelled that wrong.) I am so proud of him. He has set his mind to it, and he is going to it!!! The best part is that it won't take him very long to finish. He started January 14th, and he will graduate sometime in March. That includes his clinicals and everything! He is in a class of 12 people, and he absolutely loves going to school! He comes home in a wonderful mood every day, even though he is very tired, because he is also holding down a job. He is working very hard. He goes to schol 4 days a week for 5 hours a day. He then comes home, does his homework, tnen goes to sleep for work. I am so lucky to have him! He does everything in his power to make sure that the kids & I are taken care of!!! When he gradates, the school will help him make sure that he has a job in the field!! I am so excited that he has fianally found a carrer that he is interested in, and I know he is going to do a great job!!!

Aaron Is Teaching Himself To Draw!!!

Recently, Aaron decided that he wanted to teach himself to draw. He has been working really hard on it, and this is the first drawing that he finished. I think he did a really great job on it!!!!!

New Years Eve 2007!!!

We had a wonderful Newyears Eve! We went to my grandparents house and spent it with my mom's side of the family! It was a lot of fun! This is my brother Clint holding Mackenzie. This picture was taken just minutes before Mackenzie threw up all over herself and me.

It is a tradition in my family that whenever we get together everyone always brings food to share. Sometimes we are assigned what we should bring, and other times we can bring whatever we want to. This was one of those occasions! LOOK AT ALL THE YUMMY FOOD!!!

I was trying to save my grandma's carpet, so I tried to make sure it only got all over the 2 of us. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to bring either of us extra clothes, so I wore one of my grandpa's shirts, and Kenzie wore this doll dress! I think it is so cute!!

Kyle thought this was lots of fun, and laughed about it for a long time after we were done.

Well, the time came that she had to go back, so she left. I ended up giving birth about an hour later, and she was stuck at work so she didn't get to meet her until about midnight that night!

He found one!

This is a fun tradition on my mom's side of the family! Every year on the day before Easter, we all get together and eat a hugr lunch together, have an egg hunt for the kids, and then we have an egg toss. This is done by everyone choosing a partner, and then standing across from them. We then toss raw eggs back and forth taking a step backward between each toss. The team that gets the farthest apart wins! It can get kinda messy, but it os oh so much fun!!
